Nourish is the feeding phase of the MEND Method. After establishing beneficial bacteria, you provide them with the fuel they need to thrive — and the support to strengthen the gut barrier.
Think of it as moving from planting to fertilising. The seeds are in the ground; now you help them grow.
Feed what you've established, not what was there before.
Introducing prebiotics (bacteria food) too early can backfire. If your ecosystem is still unstable, prebiotics may feed the wrong bacteria — leading to bloating, gas, or discomfort.
By waiting until Establish is working, you're feeding beneficial bacteria that are actually present. That's why timing matters.
If you're sensitive or have SIBO patterns: Go extra slow with prebiotics. Start with tiny amounts and monitor tolerance. Some people skip prebiotics entirely and focus on Immuno Protein instead.
A sequence of support, not isolated interventions.
Prebiotic Syrup provides food for beneficial bacteria, helping them multiply and outcompete less helpful strains.
Immuno Protein (lactoferrin) supports the gut lining — the boundary between your gut contents and bloodstream.
A healthy gut barrier is central to immune function. Nourish supports both the ecosystem and the structures it lives in.

Introducing prebiotics too early can feed the wrong bacteria — causing bloating, gas, or discomfort. Wait until Establish is working before adding Nourish products.

weeks
Most people introduce Nourish products around Week 3-4, once Establish feels stable. Some wait longer — that's fine.
Prebiotic sensitivity?
Start with 1/4 teaspoon and observe for 2-3 days. Increase slowly. If bloating or discomfort, reduce or pause. SIBO patterns may do better with Immuno Protein first.
The Feed & Fortify bundle includes Prebiotic Syrup, Immuno Protein, and Enzymes.
Shop Feed & FortifyNot necessarily. Some people use both; others focus on one. Immuno Protein is generally better tolerated for sensitive systems. Prebiotic is more powerful for ecosystem building but requires readiness.
Stop or reduce. Reactions usually mean your ecosystem isn't ready yet — go back to Establish for longer, then try again. Or focus on Immuno Protein instead.
We don't recommend it. Feeding an unstable ecosystem often backfires. Wait until Establish is clearly working before adding Nourish products.
Most people spend 1-2 weeks actively introducing Nourish products, then continue them as part of their ongoing routine in Defend.
The Feed & Fortify bundle includes Prebiotic Syrup, Immuno Protein, and Enzymes for complete Nourish + Defend support.
